Coming from a family of non-musicians in Argao, Jesson learned to play the piano and guitar through books and observing others perform and play. That roused his interest in music that eventually turned into passion. Inspired by the showcase of talents in the MADZ Et. Al. concert in December 1999, he became interested in forming his own choir. He formed the USC VOICES in 2000 which became The Voice of Cebu (VOX) in 2002. Jesson graduated with a degree of Accountancy from the University of San Carlos. He now teaches at the Argao Central Elementary School. He is also the Choreographer of the Argao Central Elementary School Dance Troupe. No matter how busy he becomes in Argao, he sees to it that he visits Cebu City to train the VOX members. He considers the group very precious and takes care of the final touches of the group’s performances. |
Jandel is a full time Mathematics Educator in one of the private institutions in the city and a dedicated accompanist and choir director of various Evangelical churches. His God-given talent and passion in Math and Music have opened him doors of opportunities in giving full service to God and His people. Thus, he's been into Christian organizations that aim to teach less-fortunate children the good news of salvation through music and mathematics integration. In spite of his busy schedule in accomplishing his MA.Ed at UP-Cebu, all these things come together in one purpose, that is, for the love of God through 3 M’s (Ministry, Mathematics and Music). |
